Hello, I’m Annah.
For more than twenty five years, I have worked in places where the margin for error is thin: as a firefighter and EMT, in emergency departments and refugee resettlement, and in emergency management, risk, and resilience. That work taught me something I have carried into everything since. Organizations rarely fail because the people inside them don't care. They fail because complexity eventually outgrows the systems built to manage it.
Today, my work is focused on helping organizations prepare for that complexity before it arrives. As an emergency management professional, systems architect, and frontier technology strategist, I help leaders understand how the convergence of Intelligent, Autonomous, and Connected Systems is changing the way their organizations govern, operate, and make decisions.
But technology alone will never be enough. The greatest competitive advantage an organization can build is capability: the ability to anticipate change, preserve the knowledge an organization's experts carry, make sound decisions under uncertainty, and keep adapting as the operating environment evolves.
